DIARY OF A CELEBRITY PERSONAL TRAINER: 2 Days in London

I’ve been on the road for a while now and have loads of amazing experiences in my travels. I have seen incredible countries, met wonderful people, picked up words in many languages, tasted incredible cuisines, and got to be a part of some unbelievable events. It has been a grueling schedule for the most part; however, I wouldn’t give up this opportunity for anything. It’s a blessed time in my life and I would love to share it with you. Each week I will be doing a little write up on each of the stops or countries I’ve been in and share my experiences with you.

Hello Everyone!

After the summer months of touring Mexico, NYC, and LA with my celebrity client, we are off on the European leg of the tour. And…so far so good! Actually, it’s amazing.

I left on Tuesday evening and I love the way we get to check in at the airport. It looks a little like this...

We have our own concierge who tags us and gets us to bypass any lineups (security, customs, and bag drop) and they personally escort us to the lounge. They then come back to pick us up and walk us on board for the flight.

On this particular flight a member of our group, asked about upgrades and they upgraded a few of us to first class for free!!!

Ok so I was under the impression we would have those wide seats and I would take my magic pill (Gravol) to sleep through the flight, however, I couldn’t sleep because.....WE HAD PERSONAL PODS. I was freaking out inside and couldn’t sleep as I wanted to experience the whole MEGA first class treatment. I felt like a dummy and a fraud up there. None the less I took lots of pictures like a bumbling tourist. Lol.

Finally I did go to bed (literally bed as I could lay down flat) and woke up as we landed in Heathrow @8:30.

We checked into our hotel that is close to High Park and started working (2am home time, crazy!!). The whole group, band, managers, assistants, & wardrobe were coming in from an overnight flight and I have no idea how we all managed to stay awake. L8R we were on 2 TV shows; the first at BBC, The Alan Titchmarsh Show and the second at London Studios, for the Paul O’Grady Show.

As soon as we got to the hotel I hit the bed and crashed hard but not without eating a UK Dairy Milk first! Why do they taste so much better here? ;)

This morning I got up at 6am did a touch of cardio (hoping to get more in this evening), and packed up at the caravan. I was off again for a BBC morning talk show. Now we are sitting in a Spanish restaurant doing interviews with about 5 different reporters from various TV shows.

Next stop is a really cool restaurant for more interviews.

Alright alright...back at the hotel, done working (for now), then going to the gym to shed off some of those Cadbury chocolates.

  1. hey that is great to know, how do you manage to eat healthy with all this travel, in places you don't know were to buy stuff or were to get things you need to eat?

  2. Hi Maggie,

I enjoyed reading 2 Days in London! Thank you for sharing these stories!! Personal Pods...that's the way to do it I'd say! And UK Dairy Milk sounds like an experience to be had. How about eating a UK Dairy Milk in your Personal Pod. FREAK OUT ALERT!
Please sign me up! (Does your celebrity client need a ping-pong coach? How 'bout shuffleboard? I'm certified.)

Look forward to hearing 'bout this round of travel you're on now!

    Best,

    Ross
