After the long day in Paris and acoustic concert at night, we wrapped up the rest of the night after hours in the bar of the hotel with some musical jamming! The whole band and crew were jammin using voices, guitars, clapping, spoons, stomping, whatever made music! The music that was created was just beautiful, truly amazing.
After the all night jam session, it was another early morning on 3 hours sleep as we traveled to the airport to Amsterdam for the last adventure for this leg of the tour. It was a short flight and I slept almost the whole way there (little but much needed sleep). As soon as we landed, we went to a studio where a live TV show called, "LIEVE PAUL" is filmed. It was wild with crazy fun stage set. The host, Paul de Leeuw, is called "The David Letterman of Holland" and he is a famous Dutch entertainer/singer. I think he is a bit crazier than DL. The show revolves around granting wishes from people from the audience and has over 1.5 million viewers per show!
I had a few hours to kill as my client performed an acoustic song to be broadcast with the show. Watched for a while and then headed to the cafeteria at the studio. The set up was lovely, the food looked like a proper Dutch home-style meal. The civilized thing about it was they had an actual bar set up! People where drinking beer and wine most of the day. And at the end of the day, there where lots of staff standing outside having some drinks. Everyone was very normal and cool about it. Imagine, subsidized alcohol at work.
At the end of the day, we left the studio and headed back to our hotel.
