The buildings have such lovely architecture and the monuments are grand. The city is absolutely drenched in history and character. I really enjoyed looking out the window of our vehicles as we drove to different locations.
Our hotel was so pretty and overlooked a large square full of chairs and umbrellas to sit and eat under. It really comes alive at night, as people tend to eat later here. The roads are cobble stone, narrow and the lovely buildings with balconies sort of make a canopy around the smaller streets.
I didn't get a chance to experience the food in Spain as much as I have in other countries. I miss the German food, especially the sweets from the chocolate store and the porridge from room service. I also very much miss the pizza in Italy. Maybe next time I will be able to explore more of the food in Spain!
I’ve got to say on a personal front I am totally mixed up. I don’t know when its day or night or even care what time it is anymore. All I can tell is that I am exhausted and so tired I don’t feel tired anymore. My face has broken out in a rash and my body doesn’t know what way it’s going. I’m a mess and surviving off of about 2-3 hours of sleep per night. I haven't worked out recently so I feel like kaka; however, it really is worth it to be on this crazy adventure.
I’m really learning a lot and have some great ideas for my future.I’m especially learning a tremendous amount when I totally fall down on the job.
Today, I cried on the job.
Tomorrow I will be better for it.
Lots of love.....

Maggie,
ReplyDeleteI'm thinking of you often and enjoy reading all your blogs. You've come so far from SMH! I know how I feel when my routine is thrown off and it sounds like yours has been demolished! I hope that you will get some time with family and friends over the holidays to re-energize.
I'm really proud of what you've accomplished and proud to have worked with you and call you a friend.
Love Heather :)
