DIARY OF A CELEBRITY PERSONAL TRAINER: Buongiorno Principessa

I’m sorry, if this sounds a bit “looky looky at me” but flying in a private jet is something I could get very used to. I thought it would be a small plane like the ones you take to New York, but oh noooooo it wasn’t!

One of our crew made a comment “this is complete sensory overload” and it is. Each day tops the next and it’s a lot to take all at once. I feel totally blessed for this opportunity

I melted instantly as soon as I heard the men speak Italian, I’m completely obsessed with the Italian culture; the food, way of life, architecture, and especially the language....what a beautiful romantic language.

Next, we arrived at the studio where the singing performance will be aired along with Sunday's soccer games.

Noticed so far:

Way more cigarette smoking than in Germany.

Fresh pastries everywhere.

As a woman you walk with a new found swagger...I don’t know what compelled it but my butt was wagging a bit more than usual

Eyes linger longer and without hesitation.

After we checked into our hotel, I quickly showered, got ready and we went out to the main piazza and shopping district. I was so giddy that we actually had some free time that I didn’t notice that fact that I only got 2 hours of sleep from the night before.

This message is for my mom, “I found 1 dress in Milan, still have my eyes open for shoes and or bag and one other outfit.” (Prescription from my Mom was to buy 2 outfits and 1 pair of shoes or bag especially in Italy).

In the evening, one of the back up singers and I sat in the lobby lounge and enjoyed some beverages and crudities (17 euros for 1 drink: approximately $25) then the whole band and Glam team went out to find an authentic Italian pizza and pasta restaurant.

On very full belly's, we walked back to the hotel where I am laying down on the perfect feather pillow writing to you. I’m very seriously contemplating taking this pillow, the only thing holding me back is how embarrassing it would be to explain why the hotel charged the label for a missing pillow.

In the morning, we were up and out of Italy shortly after a live radio interview. On to Spain...

Ciao!

  1. Maggie, I'm half Italian and totally know what you mean about loving everything about it! I'm enthralled! I've followed your career slightly while in pursuit of my own fitness goals. I tend to check out what others are doing that I want to do someday. :-) I'm currently nearly finished with a personal training certification and looking to get into figure competitions and fitness modeling somewhere in the future. Do you have any advice for this track? I love your blog...it's so real and informative and how LUCKY you are for all those awesome experiences!!! Best to you!
